Fruchtkörper: Luftmycel meist weit verbreitet, dicht anliegend, spinnwebartig, weiss; Haustorien gelappt. Fruchtkörper rundlich niedergedrückt, braun, etwa 100 µm breit; Anhängsel sämtlich am Grunde des Peridiums entspringend, zahlreich, unregelmässig verästelt, farblos oder am Grunde braun, niederliegend und mit dem Mycel verwebt.

Vorkommen: Auf Blättern, Stengeln und Früchten von Umbelliferen (Doldenblüter). Juli bis November.
Sporen: Schläuche zu 4—8 (meist 6) in jedem Perithecium, zwei- bis fünf- (gewöhnlich drei- bis vier-) sporig. Sporen ellipsoidisch, 18—24 µm lang, 9—15 µm breit, farblos. Konidien genau zylindrisch, meist lang gestreckt.
